Missy's Collar
When
I was 5 or 6 years old, I had a dog named Missy. She had a purple collar. The collar
has a red name tag in the shape of a heart. On the heart it has her name in
white letters and my dad’s phone number on it. Although it is barely noticeable,
the red around the heart has started to wear off and is now silver.
I
kept this because it’s the only thing that reminds me of Missy. Missy was a puppy,
a Siberian husky with light blue eyes. I remember putting on her collar when I went
to walk her. She hated her collar, like all other dogs usually do. She would
often try to bite it off.
We
had to put Missy to sleep because she was paralyzed and could not move or even
eat. Now my new dog sometimes wears the collar. The collar makes noise when she
walks so that now we know where she is in the house. It sounds like when you
shake keys or like a small bell.

FEAR
“Fear is the spice in our life and using it to your advantage can make the difference between being miserable and being happy.”
You should learn to get over your fear; it may trouble you in the future. Tell it to someone you can trust, who will NEVER tell anyone. Don’t think you’re an outcast just because you have a fear; everyone has at least one fear, one way or the other.
For example, when I was younger, around 5-12 years old, I was afraid of what people would think of me. As a result, I didn't do anything fun, boring, or show any emotion. I wouldn't even talk to anyone, which brought me to shyness. My fear ruined my life. Don’t waste your time being afraid, be yourself and end your fear. Whether it’s the dark, animals, being in small spaces (claustrophobia) or even electricity.
